# Token

The initial token offering will serve as the primary funding mechanism for the development and expansion of **Seerdex**. Capital raised during the ICO will be allocated toward engineering, security audits, liquidity provisioning, and strategic growth initiatives.

Participants in the token sale will gain access to governance rights and ecosystem incentives, positioning them as early stakeholders in the protocol's evolution.

$SEERX is issued on **Ethereum** as an ERC-20 token and is **multichain by design** — it can be bridged to **Solana**, where the Seerdex platform is built, and to other supported networks, so holders can use it wherever they trade.

The $SEERX token is the heart of the Seerdex ecosystem, serving four core functions:

* **Governance** — Vote on protocol upgrades, market listings, and key parameters.
* **Fee alignment** — Benefit from a share of protocol revenue and reduced trading fees.
* **Incentives** — Earn rewards for providing liquidity and participating in the ecosystem.
* **Staking & accountability** — Market creators stake $SEERX to launch markets, aligning incentives toward high-quality listings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://seerdex.gitbook.io/seerdex-whitepaper/seerdex-ico/token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
