# Oracle Infrastructure

Reliable data is essential for any prediction market. Seerdex integrates multiple decentralized oracle providers, including **Chainlink**, **Pyth Network**, and **UMA**.

By aggregating data from multiple independent sources rather than depending on a single one, the protocol reduces the risk of manipulation and ensures accurate market resolution. This multi-oracle approach provides redundancy and enhances overall system resilience, particularly in high-stakes or controversial markets.

This design directly addresses one of the most significant risks in the category. When resolution depends on a single oracle or a single pool of voters, a well-funded actor can attempt to seize control of an outcome. Seerdex's layered approach — combining high-frequency price feeds, deterministic data delivery, and optimistic dispute resolution — makes that far harder to do, protecting the integrity of payouts for everyday users.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://seerdex.gitbook.io/seerdex-whitepaper/oracle-infrastructure.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
